Blog #3 My Song analysis

Do you remember watching Curious George and the theme song was so joyful and catchy. That theme song was written by Jack Johnson. There is this other song I love by him. "Banana Pancakes" is a laid back song, representing a lazy morning and enjoying the relaxation with a loved one. Theres this lyric that goes, "But the telephone singing, ringing, it's too early, don't pick it up. We don't need to. We got everything we need right here and everything we need is enough." I interpret this as enjoying the time alone in our little bubble not letting the outside world bother us.  The rain mentioned in the song can be seen as a symbol of life's challenges, and the idea of ignoring it to stay inside and be close to someone you love. The mood is warm, cozy, and comforting which is fitting for the title of the song. Banana pancakes, as mentioned in the title and lyrics, can be seen as a symbol of simple, homemade comfort. The act of making them together represents shared experiences and the joy of spending time with loved ones. The line, "Just so easy when. The whole world fits inside of your arms" signified what the song was about. This line presented the happiness and coziness the song wants you to feel.

This is the singer/songwriter: Jack Johnson
This is the Album cover: Better Together

To end this off, "Banana Pancakes" by Jack Johnson is a simple and heartfelt song that celebrates the joys of staying in and spending quality time with a loved one. It's known for its calming, acoustic sound and relatable lyrics, making it a favorite for those seeking a cozy and intimate musical experience.
